About these terms
These terms apply to your use of storycart.in and to every order you place with Storycart, an online bookstore run by SPV Global Holdings, No:1, Chinna Mangadu Contonment, Poonamallee, Chennai 600056, India. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our Privacy policy, Shipping policy and Returns & refunds policy.
Using the website
- You must be 18 or older to place an order, or use the website with a parent or guardian.
- Please give us correct and complete information: your name, phone number, email and delivery address.
- You are responsible for keeping your account password safe and for orders placed from your account.
- Do not misuse the website: no fake orders, fraud, harmful code, scraping or attempts to break its security.
Books, prices and availability
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include GST where applicable. The delivery charge, if any, is shown at checkout.
- We try to keep prices, stock and book details accurate. If a price or listing is clearly wrong, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
- Cover images show the edition we sell. Publishers sometimes change cover designs, so the book you receive may look slightly different.
- Stock can run out after you order. If we cannot supply a book, we will tell you and refund it.
Orders
- Your order confirmation email means we have received your order. A contract is formed when we ship the order to you.
- We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable, the pin code cannot be served, or we suspect fraud. You will get a full refund for anything you have paid.
- You can cancel an order before it ships by messaging us. Once shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
Payment
We accept UPI, cards, net banking and wallets through Razorpay and Cash on Delivery. Online payments are processed by our payment partner under their own terms; we do not store your card details. For Cash on Delivery, please keep the exact amount ready. We may turn off Cash on Delivery for an account if COD orders are repeatedly refused.

Reviews and messages
If you post a review or send us content, it must be honest, lawful and your own. We may remove reviews that are abusive, misleading or unrelated to the book.
Intellectual property
The Storycart name, logo, website design and text belong to Storycart. Book covers, titles and descriptions belong to their authors and publishers and are shown only to help you choose books. Please do not copy any of it without permission.
Limitation of liability
We take care to describe books correctly and to deliver them safely. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes or courier disruptions. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you place an order applies to that order.
